Why did you build this career tool, and what was your contribution?
I wanted a reusable record of my work that could support a review, promotion discussion, or interview.
I defined a personal workflow for capturing projects, wins, and evidence, then turning selected examples into clear career conversations. A recruiter also needed an organized way to understand my experience without navigating my private working notes.
I supplied the career material and directed the product using ChatGPT and Codex. I asked for factual examples, less repetition, clear role preferences, and separate private and recruiter-facing experiences. AI assisted with the writing and implementation; I owned the requirements and reviewed the result.
The tool now combines an owner-only workspace with a curated portfolio. The brief builder creates editable drafts from selected records. I can show the product and explain the choices, while keeping the claim accurate: it is a personal tool, and I have not measured commercial adoption or productivity gains.
